        I'm DelusionsofFondo! I'm a figurative artist located in Florida with a focus on watercolor and mixed media, I’m inspired by the intersections of reality and imagination, and the ways in which humor, absurdity, and human emotion can intertwine. My goal is to create artwork that sparks curiosity and invites viewers to explore a world where the familiar feels strange and the strange feels familiar. I refer to this world as the "brain space"  which is a nod to the odd ideas from sketchbooks and the deep parts of my brain.

        One of my current projects takes inspiration from fragments of sleep-talking by my partner. These odd and often funny bits of dialogue—ranging from frustration over granola bars to dreamlike images of “volcano mouths”—give me a window into the playful, surreal nature of our subconscious minds. Translating these moments into aqueous paintings, I explore the abstract, dreamlike qualities that emerge in the in-between spaces of sleep and waking life. I’m drawn to the humor and mystery in these moments, creating visuals that allow viewers to experience the fluidity of dreams through their own interpretations.
